Saying Goodbye To A Special Dog Sara

I have decided to write this hub in remembrance of a very good dog. Her name was Sara. She has been a part of my life now for almost eight years. I suppose God had other plans for her so he called her home. ( I do believe all dogs go to heaven....some may think I am crazy but I do believe that's where she is looking down on all of us who loved her so).  In the past seven almost eight years I have known Sara she has always been so full of life and love.  When I first met her she came out of a van coming towards me.  To tell you the truth I was quite nervous since I really don't like very big dogs.  But she grew on me from that instant.  She was so happy and wagged her tail and just gave one of the biggest dog smiles ever.  (she was good at that).  I think we became instant pals.  She always went on rides with us where ever Jim (her daddy) and I went.  When he was away we would spend time together to.  It was so awesome.  I have so many fond memories with this wonderful dog,  I think some of my most favorite memories with Sara were during the summer when we would go float the river.  She wasn't much on getting wet unless we made her get wet.  She would always get up on the queen sized air mattress that we bought and float.  She would stay there in the middle so there was room for both of us.  The way she would sit or even lay and just watch things go by as we floated down the river.  Even when we would stop for breaks she would never leave our sides.  She was a very faithful loyal dog. 

 The longer I was arround this dog the more attached I got and the more I fell in love with her.  At night before we would go to bed she would spend time on the bed with us just chilling letting us love on her while we watched tv or movies.  Some nights she would stay up there all night.  ( I tell you what she was a blanket hog to)  I didn't care I was falling in love with that dog.  Then there were some mornings where she would just wake up and come over to the bed and wait for us to wake up and have her up on the bed for some more quality time.  It was the most precious thing ever.  She always had a way to make you feel better when you were feeling down.  She would come over and just sit with  you and make you feel important some how or some way.  I never doubted that she loved all of us very  much.  Other times when I would go see her for being gone for a while she would always come running wagging her tail like where have you been I have missed you and welcome back.  That always made me so very happy.

 I could go on and on about how wonderful this dog was and still is in my heart all day.  I just wanted to write this short little something for her to pay tribute to her and what a wonderful dog she was.  Sara my dear sweet friend, I hope that no matter what I always loved you and always will love you.  You have been a dear and sweet part of my life.  Thank you for always being there to bring some love or even share some cuddle time with me.  The kisses were the best to because lots of time they were few and far between but that is what makes them so special that you would share them with me.  I love you Sara.  May you rest in peace and know that you were very much loved and adored while you spent this time on earth with those of us who knew  you and loved you.  You will be missed but never forgotten in our hearts  and minds forever,
